skin cancers (Mohs surgery)

Mohs surgery is a precise surgical procedure used to treat most skin cancers, including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinomas, and melanomas. Mohs surgery is often the best option for the face and eyelids, since we want to preserve as much tissue as possible and ensure that all cancer is removed at the time of the procedure.

Our doctors work with a variety of Mohs surgeons in the area. The Mohs surgeons will remove the cancer while our doctors repair the resulting surgical defect. This combination of procedures allows for the most natural and cosmetically appealing results.

This is typically an outpatient surgery.
